Company owner Carolyn Daughters has more than 14 years of experience in providing editorial management and production, writing, copyediting, and proofreading services for such companies, government agencies, and institutions as Unisys Corporation, the U. S. Department of Defense, CH2M HILL, Northrop Grumman, Prentice Hall, LexisNexis, and the Colorado Department of State. She has designed, written, and edited corporate, government, technical, marketing, creative, and academic documentation.

Carolyn is also a widely respected course instructor. She developed and taught a course in technical writing for U.S. Department of Defense at the Pentagon. In addition, she spent three years developing and teaching courses in professional writing, public speaking, and literature for students at the University of Virginia. She currently teaches at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Carolyn earned a Master of Arts degree in English Literature, Language, and Research from the University of Virginia.
She is Brainbench certified in Written English, and her Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Verbal test score (which assesses
ability in language usage, grammar, and punctuation) is in the 99th percentile.
